The Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, led by Music Director Urs Leonhardt Steiner, invites you to celebrate Día de los Muertos in style. The afternoon opens with an hour-long concert of beautiful, spirited music — then transforms into a full fiesta celebrating life, memory, and community.

Enjoy roaming mariachis, songs from GGSOC performers, authentic Mexican delicacies, and a community Día de los Muertos altar where you can honor your own loved ones. Dress up for a chance to win prizes in our best-costume contest — audience and performers are all welcome to compete!
